Loulou Gaget
Loulou Gaget is an RYT 200 yoga teacher and fitness instructor. She has completed 250+ hours of training, and is certified in Power Vinyasa Yoga, Yoga Sculpt and Hot Yoga. She has been working in the fitness space since early 2017, and began leading private sessions and group classes at well-known studios across New York City & The Hamptons in early 2019. Her passion for yoga led her to begin teaching kids’ yoga, leading guided meditation, and to become certified in reiki healing. She is the CEO + Founder of Power Move Virtual Yoga Studio, created with the intention of building a limitless space for yogis of all levels and backgrounds to practice yoga from wherever they are. Her passion is to empower fellow yoga teachers to express creativity through unique, authentic instruction.
Jackie Helmuth
Jackie Helmuth is a 200 HR RYT, RPYT based in Brooklyn, NY. Her teaching experience goes as far back as 2011, when she completed her initial certification at Corepower Yoga in San Diego, CA. She is trained in several formats including Vinyasa, Hot Yoga, Sculpt (fitness-based yoga) and Prenatal Yoga. To Jackie, practicing yoga is her spiritual and mental health outlet. Teaching yoga is her platform to share her passion for empowering others and promoting mental and physical wellness. Her classes are known to have great music and encouraging words that may resonate with you. She has recently discovered her new love for working with mothers and mothers-to-be by preparing them for birth and helping them to build connection with their mind, body and baby throughout their pregnancy journey. Having lived in San Diego, Jackie loves sunshine and the active lifestyle of Southern California. Her classes reflect her free-spirit Cali vibe and you may even catch her teaching there when she goes back to visit! Aside from yoga, Jackie enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, anything in nature and going for walks at Prospect Park with her pup, Cheddar!
Amanda Bishop
Amanda Bishop is a 200 HR RYT based in New York who completed her training in June 2020 through CorePower Yoga. She started practicing to become stronger physically and emotionally, which inspired her to teach and continuously spread the love and passion she has for yoga with others. Amanda’s intention as a teacher is to connect with her students and encourage unique expression in each posture. She finds it important to provide her students with a safe space to express their authentic self through movement and breath. Amanda was a member of Power Move Yoga’s first Teacher Development Program, and recently completed the additional training. She loves watching her students grow and also learning and growing from them!
Emily Brennan
Emily is based in Manhattan and has been practicing yoga since 2014. In December 2019 she became a certified teacher through Laughing Lotus Yoga Center in NYC. She's been teaching ever since! Her classes are Vinyasa based with a focus on the Chakras. Emily's hope for all of her classes is that through mindful movement and breath, we may all take one step closer to connecting with our true selves, or inner light. Yoga is simply the prep and practice for our real test- Life. Off the mat Emilyis a professional actor!
Christina Rau
Christina found yoga at 14 through Sassy Magazine, and she's been practicing yoga ever since. She is a 200 hour Certified Yoga Instructor and a Level 1 Reiki Practitioner who has been sharing her passion for wellness in yoga studios and gyms for almost 20 years. She loves a dance-like flow as well as strength-building asanas, and she strives to share grace and gratitude with every breath.
Carolyn Kelly
Carolyn is a dedicated NYC-based yoga instructor. After being inspired by her sister who taught at the Philadelphia CorePower location, Carolyn received her Yoga Sculpt training from CorePower New York and began teaching at various NYC locations in March 2019. Carolyn loves the encouragement and support the yoga community provides and is excited to expand with Power Move! As a teacher, Carolyn aims to create a fun, sweaty, and challenging workout for all. She loves to incorporate lots of cardio and mix in some HIIT, combined with throw back tunes and bumpin’ pop remixes. She loves a good themed class, so all requests welcome!
Olivia Gardlin
An NYC native, Olivia has been deeply interested in people, health and mindfulness since a young age. She completed her 200-hour YTT through Stanton Street Yoga & The Bhakti Center and previously studied Public Health, Nutrition & Psychology at Syracuse University. Olivia is fascinated by the benefits of a mindful meditation practice and intentional asana poses, and grounds her practice in compassion and gratitude. A life-long student herself, Olivia encourages anyone who joins her class to embody self-acceptance, compassion, kindness, gratitude and authenticity. When she is not on the mat, she enjoys gardening, hiking and cooking.
